If you have questions you would like addressed before scheduling your New Patient Appt, Dawn Balusik will be glad to speak with you over the phone for 15 minutes. Call the office to request your phone consultation, and Dawn will call you at her earliest convenience.

New Patient Appointment:

1.5-2 hours, $150
Review of your entire health history and your current health concerns, diagnosis, acupuncture treatment, nutritional recommendations, an herbal evaluation and prescription(s). May include up to 15 minutes of bodywork, such as massage, cupping, gua sha, moxa or electro-acupuncture.

Acupuncture (Follow-Up):

45-60 mins, $75
Acupuncture treatment and, if needed, an herbal prescription review and nutritional recommendations. May include up to 15 minutes of any bodywork modality, such as massage, cupping, gua sha, moxa or electro-acupuncture.

Herbal Consult (Follow-Up):

30-45 mins, $50
Herbal prescription review or evaluation, for existing, active patients. May include nutritional recommendations. This option does not include any acupuncture or bodywork.

Acupuncture & Massage Combo (Follow-Up):

60 mins, $95
Acupuncture treatment, and up to 30 minutes of massage therapy. If needed, an herbal prescription review and nutritional recommendations may be included.

Full-Body Massage:

60 mins, $75
A one-hour massage consisting of Swedish, Acupressure, Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular, Kurashova, Tui Na, Stretching and Myofascial release techniques, depending on your preference and condition. Also, may include cupping, gua sha or moxa.

Reiki Therapy:

60 mins, $75
Hands-on, passive, energy work technique performed with patient fully clothed. Produces a deep relaxation and a gentle healing response on mental, emotional and physical levels.

*Note: 15 minutes of Reiki can be added to any acupuncture or massage treatment for an additional $10.

Childbirth Labor Induction:

1 hour, $75
If you are past your due date and/or are scheduled for a c-section, but would like to try for a natural birth, acupuncture can help. As long as your baby is in the correct position, Dawn Balusik can perform acupuncture to stimulate labor. Daily treatment for 1 to 3 days is usually sufficient.

Stop-Smoking Treatments:

Initial Treatment: 1.5 hour, $100
Follow-ups: 1 hour, $65
Acupuncture is proven to help curb nicotine cravings and alleviate withdrawal symptoms when you are ready to stop smoking. This protocol involves 6 treatments over 3 weeks time (3 the first week, 2 the second week and 1 the third week). Helpful “quit smoking” tips and herbal support are also given.

Financial Policy

Payment:

Full payment is due at the time of service.
Cash, Check, Visa and MasterCard are accepted.

Returned Checks:

Each returned check will incur a fee of $20.

Insurance:

Dawn Balusik Acupuncture does not bill health insurance.
If your health insurance company covers acupuncture and/or massage, we can provide you with a receipt and superbill to submit to your insurance company, so that they may reimburse you.

We may bill Auto PIP, Med Pay or Worker’s Comp for you; these will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Cancellations or Missed Appointments:

We require a notice of 24 hours if you need to cancel an appointment, or you will be billed for your missed appointment.
